Single phase electromechanical meters in sheet steel housing The meter base, cover and extended terminal cover is made of CRCA sheet steel of adequate thickness, duly pre-paint treated and zinc-phosphatized, and powder painted for long life and durability. The window glass is made of toughened glass fastened to the cover with neoprene gasket such that the glass remains replaceable. Special continuous solid gasket is provided in cover groove to make it dust and moisture proof and retard fraud by insertion of foreign bodies. A suspension hook is welded to the base, in the shape of a clip bent backwards It is thus adjustable to different affixing dimensions of the meter with a screw under it. The fixing screws are inaccessible once the meter is installed. Both two and three point fixing is available. Two back sealing screws are provided for sealing with cover, and one sealing screw is provided for sealing the terminal cover. Meters with short terminal covers are also optionally available.
