Single phase meters

The standard single phase meters is intended to measure active electrical energy in single phase, two wire networks.

Single phase meters are available in various direct operating versions.

The standard meters are surface mounting bottom connected type, in sheet steel case with toughened glass window, fitted with double jewel bottom bearing and reverse running stop and extended terminal cover.

Three phase meters

The standard three phase meters is intended to measure active electrical energy in three phase, four wire networks.

Three phase meters are available in various direct operating versions, and CT operated versions.

The standard meters are surface mounting bottom connected type, in sheet steel case with toughened glass window, fitted with double jewel bottom bearing and reverse running stop and extended terminal cover.

The following symbols added to the type designation indicate the following options instead:

M: Magnetic suspension bearing

U: Unidirectional Counter (without reverse running stop)

P: Steel case and terminal cover with transparent polycarbonate cover

T: Black bakelite  base with transparent polycarbonate cover and terminal cover

B: Black bakelite base  with black bakelite cover and terminal  cover and polycarbonate window

G: Hinged terminal cover 

S: Short terminal cover

C: Larger digit drum size (6.9 x 3.7mm)

J: Jumping figure type counter (available only with large digits)
H: Carrying Handle

The measurement and technical characteristics of the meters comply with the BIS publ. IS:13010 (with latest amendments), IEC 60521, BS 5685 (parts 1 and 2), accuracy class 2. The inspection standards applicable are IEC 60514.
